Ludlow Open Exhibition Report
I went up to ludlow for the double private view, an ingenious idea by Jo King the curator, to drink wine, view art and meet people two nights in a row.
The quality of the work overall was excellent and I was pleased to be a part of it. Unfortunately, the piece Constellation proved difficult to install and a compromise was made. We had to show the work mounted on a painted board, hung on the wall as opposed to the individual figurines being attached directly to the wall within a painted black circle. It didn’t work as well but none the less, it looked ok. Yummy Mummy looked great in her own ‘pod’ style space which had been draped with black fabric but sadly she a met a sticky end and was eaten by a mouse! So, not the experience I had anticipated but experience all the same!
